Amis Du Teche is a relative newcomer, although the members of this lively Cajun band are all practiced musicians who grew up together along Bayou Teche in the Breaux Bridge area just east of Lafayette, Louisiana. Leader Adeline Miller has performed across the country and in Canada with her brother Robert, and she has studied French in Nova Scotia and at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she is also part of the Cajun Ensemble, Bluegrass Ensemble, and String Ensemble. The band was a hit at the 2024 SXSW conference in Austin, and has developed a sound following in Acadiana.
