Meet WWOZ's new Membership Director, KaTrina Griffin! KaTrina comes to us with accounting and business experience and degrees in Business Administration, Psychology, and Accounting. KaTrina is happy to be part of WWOZ's development team, heading up efforts to grow our membership and create deeper connections to our longtime members. "WWOZ is New Orleans in that it tells the story of the city through music," she says. "Working here, I feel the energy and heartbeat of a city that continues to find ways to show the world they are a force to be reckoned with." |
Mardi Gras Indian Hall of Fame Week

Mardi Gras Indian Hall of Fame Week happens all August 7-14 and includes a number of events, including a fundraiser event for Hail to the Queens, a documentary by Brian Nelson. The event includes screening a trailer for the documentary, followed by an original performance by Queen Reecie & Co. A New Season of Cuttin' Class

We're happy to announce a new season of "Cuttin' Class," our showcase of NOLA's newest crop of young musicians. During each episode of Cuttin' Class, middle and high school students from the Greater New Orleans area perform live in our studio. First up this season: Eisenhower Academy Brass Band at noon on September 8. |
