DarkLounge Ministries is the brainchild of stalwart local singer Rik Slave, a punk rocker who has sensibilities (and bands) spanning from edgy country rock (the Phantoms) to horror rock (Rock City Morgue), all overlaid with a sheen of irony. DarkLounge Ministries features Slave in lounge mode. Together with pianist Paul Thomas, he croons easy listening love songs with dark, adult twists.
