Combining the grit of alternative rock with tropical tones of the Caribbean, Daria & the Hip Drops have been rocking the New Orleans scene since 2010. Inspired by artists like No Doubt, The Talking Heads, and The Arctic Monkeys, Daria and the Hip Drops released their debut album “Hipnotic” in 2015 to roaring success, including being named one of Jimmy Buffett’s favorite bands. The group has continued to carve out their niche on the New Orleans music scene, delivering their feel-good vibes alongside the likes of Mike Dillon, Amanda Shaw, and Tank & the Bangas. The group also closed out the Lagniappe stage at JazzFest after its epic post-covid return in 2022. Daria and the Hip Drops are currently working on their next album, due to be released in 2024.
