Chloé Marie

Chloé Marie is a singer/songwriter based in New Orleans whose music embodies the full human experience from dark to light while embracing her rich voice and folk-rock sensibilities. The Baton Rouge-born guitarist sang in choirs and performed in musical theatre as a youth, and took up music as a profession only a few years ago with her Baton Rouge-based band Alabaster Stag, which had regional success and opened for Big Freedia, Tank and the Bangas, Flow Tribe, GIVERS, and others. Chloe Marie, born Chloe Johnson, then moved to the Crescent City to hone her craft and develop a solo act. She has released a handful of recordings, including the 2023 I Guess It’s Just Me Now.

She is also a talented puppeteer and stars as Cynthia on the Louisiana Public Broadcasting/PBS Network children’s show Ziggy’s Arts Adventure, a Jim Henson/Sesame Street-like series now in its third season.
