We know plenty about the great musical artists of New Orleans through their music, but there's a lot more to them than that.
During Jazz Fest, we sat down with bassist extraordinaire George Porter, Jr. (The Meters, The Trio, and Runnin' Pardners) and tossed 20 rapid-fire questions at him in a new interview series we call "Yeah, You Right."

Vaucresson or Pattons?
Does the segment work?
Here are the stinkin' opinions, according to this reader/listener...
Title (Yeah, You Right) - Cliche that everybody relates to, but one that is ALWAYS better when it's said than when it's written.
Question Topics - Gives a decent cross-section of logic that fills in many of the chosen interviewees proverbial blanks. But the "third degree"? Not even close to that claim...whoosh.
How It Hits - Comes across nicely, short and sweet.
Thanks
Thanks for the input! (Yeah you right.)
