The Treme Creole Gumbo Fest returns to Armstrong Park on Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19 from 11a-7:30p both days. This festival is billed as New Orleans premiere brass band showcase and the music lineup reflects it. Admission is free.

Saturday, Nov. 18
11a - 12:15p Tuba Skinny
12:30 - 2p Treme Brass Band
2:30 - 4p Original Pinstripe Brass Band
4:30 - 6p Free Agents Brass Band
6:15 - 7:30p To Be Continued (TBC) Brass Band

Sunday, Nov. 19
11a - 12:15p LPO Brass Ensemble
12:30 - 2p Pinettes Brass Band
2:30 - 4p Hot 8 Brass Band (video below)
4:30 - 6p Trumpet Mafia
6:15 - 7:30p Rebirth Brass Band

The festival will offer a smorgasbord of New Orleans' signature dish in a variety of styles. Gumbo z’herbes, shrimp and oyster, chicken and andouille, Creole filé, dark roux, gluten-free and even vegan-- all served from 14 vendors in the expanded food court. The festival also features an arts market and kids activities.
