The Congo Square African Marketplace is a vibrant artspace alongside the bombastic Congo Square stage. Featuring different local, national, and international artists each weekend, the market is a colorful and dynamic celebration of contemporary craftsmanship and art.

Atlanta based Najee Dorsey is showing his mixed media collage in his sixth year at Jazz Fest. An Arkansas native, Najee has been making art professionally for over 20 years. He is also the founder of Black Art in America, a social network for African American artists and appreciators.

Given that his work is featured in the Demonstration Tent, Najee decided to share a web demonstration of his artistic process with the WWOZ online community tuning into Jazz Fest from near and far. The three images below are of a piece entitled "Takin It Easy".
