Every day at Jazz Fest, there are a number of interviews held on the Allsion Miner Stage in the Grandstand...  One of today's featured Zydeco legend Queen Ida and contemporary Zydeco star Terrance Simien.

Ida Lewis "Queen Ida" Guillory is a Louisiana accordionist and the first female accordion player to lead a zydeco band.

Terrance Simien is a zydeco musician, vocalist and songwriter. He and his band, the Zydeco Experience won the Grammy Award for Best Zydeco or Cajun Music Album for 2008.
