1) Let the good times roll; it's Mardi Gras time!!!! Tons of parades and raucous action to come between now and Tuesday. WWOZ is also spinning plenty of Mardi Gras music so tune in! Check out our recent Mardi Gras Indian coverage, as well.

3) The Music Box is opening their doors to the public on Friday, Feb. 24 from noon to 4p with the Detroit Party Marching Band for visitors to explore the village. Make some music!

4) Brass Pass distribution has begun! Beat the lines at the gate by picking up your Brass Pass at one of our designated pick-up spots before the festival. Today, we'll be at Whole Foods in Metairie from noon to 6p. Next week, you can grab your already-purchased Brass Pass at Baronne St. Rouses or Magazine St. Whole Foods. See the full pick-up schedule. If you haven't gotten your Brass Pass yet but are planning to, we encourage you to do so soon-- Brass Passes for Jazz Fest 2017 are going fast and we only have a limited amount! 

5) Hurray for the Riff Raff will be doing an in-store performance and signing at Euclid Records on Wednesday, March 1 at 5p in promotion of their upcoming album, The Navigator. Advance copies will be available at this appearance.
